The Valley is the capital of Anguilla, an overseas territory of British. The town of The Valley is situated between 18°13′15″ N latitude and 63°03′06″ W longitude. The Valley experiences a tropical wet and dry climate with short dry season from February to April and long wet season that covers remaining months of the year. It enjoys constant temperature year around ranging from 26 to 29° C.

There are many historical sites in The Valley dating back to 18th and 19th centuries and the major sites are Old Court House, Methodist Church and Wallblake House. Crocus Hill is the highest point in The Valley. The Valley is home to Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (formerly Anguilla Wallblake Airport).
