History of Guarulhos:
Jesuit priest Manuel de Paiva founded the city in the year 1560 and during the 16th century became the capital of San Paulo and surrounded by Tiete and Cabucu Rivers. During the 20th century developments like railroads and power electricity system was established in the region and Federal Intervention and Constitutional Movement were started during the 30th century.
