History of Havana:

Havana was populated by indigenous peoples and in the year 1514, Conquistador Diego Velázquez de Cuellar founded the Havana. Columbus established the region during the 15^th century where Spanish colonies established but indigenous people were vanished from the region. The Spanish ruled the Cuba during 16^th and 17^th centuries which acted as a hub of commerce among the Europe and the New World. During 18^th century major developments in Havana occurred. The Spanish began to construct buildings and develop the natural resources in the region. The Cuban Revolution was started in the 19^th century which ended the Spanish rule in the country.
