Periyar River

Periyar River is the second greatest river in Kerala and flows throughout the year. It streams in the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Vandiperiyar

The great township of Vandiperiyar is to be found 18 km from the Thekkady and lies on the basin of the River Periyar. It is the chief agricultural center to the sate Kerala.

Periyar University
