Kakinada is a well known city situated in East Godavari District in the Indian State of Andra Pradesh. It is popularly known as Fertilizer City, Pensioner’s Paradise and Second Madras. Kakinada is the administrative headquarter of East Godavari District and is placed about 465 km east of state capital Hyderabad. Kakinada is in 6^th position in the field of area and in 9^th position in the field of population in the state.
