Bafilo is a city in the Kara Region of Togo, located around 20 km south of the regional capital, Kara and 385 km north of the national capital, Lome. Bafilo is a city with many interesting specialties like a large impressive mosque, important weaving industry and typical wagassi cheese. Bafilo is also popular for Bafilo Falls, which is situated in the vicinity of the city. Bafilo is geographically positioned between 9°21′ N latitude and 1°16′ E longitude.

The Niamtougou International Airport is the closest airport to Bafilo but currently no airlines serve the airport. Lome–Tokoin Airport operates flights from Casablanca, Brussels, Paris, Niamey and many global cities and is located around 385 km south of Bafilo. Kran National Park:
Situated around 130 km northwest of Bafilo, the Kran National Park spans over an area of 1,636 sq. km and houses a wide range of animal species, mainly elephants. The park was established in 1950.
