History of Shkoder:
Shkoder was the capital of the Illyrian tribe since the 3rd century and was the first to settle in the region. Roman captured the region in the year 168 BC and was the major trade and military route and after the downfall of the Roman Empire the region came under the rule of Byzantine kingdom and later captured by the Serbian Empire in the 14th century. In the year 1474, Ottoman invaded the region and captured the county and Shkoder was the major city under the rule of Ottoman until the 20th century. During the Balkan War, between Ottoman and Montenegro nearly 10,000 people died but after the year 1913, Montenegro disappears due to insufficient funds and army force.
