Shkoder city is a part of the Shkoder district in the northwestern part of Albania country, is renowned for its historical significance and oldest city and also prominent as a cultural and economic hub in the country. History of Shkoder:

Shkoder was the capital of the Illyrian tribe since the 3^rd century and was the first to settle in the region. Roman captured the region in the year 168 BC and was the major trade and military route and after the downfall of the Roman Empire the region came under the rule of Byzantine kingdom and later captured by the Serbian Empire in the 14^th century. In the year 1474, Ottoman invaded the region and captured the county and Shkoder was the major city under the rule of Ottoman until the 20^th century. During the Balkan War, between Ottoman and Montenegro nearly 10,000 people died but after the year 1913, Montenegro disappears due to insufficient funds and army force.
