History of Targu Mures:
Targu Mures was established by name Novum Forum Siculorum in the year 1349 and churches were constructed in the region and in the year 1482, the region was declared as the royal settlement by King Matthias Corvinus. Kuruc troops of Pal Kaszas captured the castle in 1704 and in the year 1848, Romanian revolution was started in the city. After the World War II, several industries were established in the city.
