Saint Hripsime Church
Saint Hripsime Church is the prehistoric cathedral in Armenia. The church was constructed in the year 395 AD. The unique crypt was structured by Catholicos Sahak and the crest was constructed by Catholicos Komitas. It is renowned for its Armenian structural design of the ancient epoch. It has been declared as World Heritage Site by the UNESCO with the sites that is sited in the vicinity. The carvings found on the east and west fascias showcase the lifestyle of Sebeos who lived during the 7th century. The most appealing part is the fresco of mother-of-pearl that can be found inside the edifice that signifies the Armenian design of 18th century. It is alleged that the church has gone through many renovations.
Saint Gayane Church
Saint Gayane Church is positioned in the vicinity of the Etchmiadzin Cathedral. It is one of the sites that were recognized by the UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Saint Gayane cathedral is a three central approach minster with an eight sided barrel seated on four inner parapets which sections the cathedral to three divisions.
Etchmiadzin Cathedral
Mother minster of Holy Etchmiadzin, initially recognized as the Holy Mother of God cathedral dates back to 4th century. It is placed in the township of Ejmiatsin, Armenia. It is the most ancient state-constructed cathedral in the whole globe. It is also the fundamental minster in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Etchmiadzin church has been recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
Zvartnots Cathedral
Zvartnots Cathedral was constructed by the order of Catholicos Nerses the Builder during the early 7th century. It is structurally designed as four apses style and is positioned at the margin of the town of Etchmiadzin, Armavir region.
