Adrar is the capital city of the province of Adrar in partially central part of the African country Algeria, situated around 1400 kilometers southwest of Algiers, the capital of Algeria. Adrar province is the 2nd largest province of Algeria. Adrar is situated at an altitude of 258 meters between 27°52′ N latitude and 0°17′ W longitude. Adrar experiences hot desert climate with mild winters, hot summers and very less rainfall.
