Lillafured or Miskolc-Lillafüred is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county in Hungary geographically positioned at 48°06′ N 20°38′ E, officially belongs to the city of Miskolc, is located around 12 km away and about 200 km from Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

History of Lillafured:
Until 1890s, Lillafured was an undeveloped settlement and it geared up towards developments with the decision of then minister of agriculture, Count András Bethlen who resolved to build it as a holiday resort on his visit of Lake Hámori. The resort in Lillafured was named in the honor of Lilla Vay who was the wife of Count András Bethlen.
