Petrovac is a town situated on the coast of Adriatic Sea in the municipality of Budva in Montenegro country. Petrovac is situated in the middle of Budva and Bar towns and situated along the chain of mountains is one of the renowned tourist destinations in the country. History of Petrovac:

Petrovac was established as the village during the rule of Romans and a villa was constructed in the village and was first recognized in the Chronicle of the Priest of Dukjia. During the rule of Venetian in the 16^th century they constructed the fort “Kastel Lastva” to defend the town from attack of pirates. Until the 20^th century, the village was recognized as the Kastel Lastva but name was changed to Petrovac after the king Peter I Karadordevic.
