History of Mansa:
It is said that Mansa existed even during the times of Indus Valley Civilization. Mansa is said to be founded by Bhai Gurdas who prevailed from Dhingar, a district in Mansa. It was a part of Phulkia Sikh Dynasty between 1722 A.D. to 1762 A.D. and was part of Kaithal Sikh Kingdom from 1762 A.D. to 1857. Mansa got separated from Bathinda district and formed has the own district in the year 1992.
