The Republic of the Congo, also called Congo-Brazzaville or Congo Republic, simply Congo, is a Central African country, sharing its borders with the country nearly having same name, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the east and south, the Central African Republic to the north, Gabon to the west and Cameroon to the northwest and the Angolan exclave of Cabinda to the southwest.
