History about Rupnagar:

Rupnagar was ruled by king Rokeshwar in 11^th century and is named after his son Rupsen, and thus the place came to be called as Rupnagar. The city also dates back to Indus Valley Civilization.

Nangal:

Nangal is situated at the foothills of Shivalik mountain ranges and the prime attraction of the place is the presence of Bhakra Nangal Dam which is visited by many tourists from all parts of the country. Other nearby attractions include Gobind Sagar Lake, Lakshmi Narayan temple and Shiv Ashram.

Morinda:
