This sanctuary is located on the banks of River Beas and is positioned at an altitude of about 3000 feet. The sanctuary is surrounded by full of khair, shisam, tun, sain, amla and sal trees.
Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary is home to chital, barking deer, gorals, sambar, wild boar, Rhesus macaque monkeys, red jungle fowls, panthers, tigers and leopards. 100 years old colonial Dak Bungalow is the major attraction of the sanctuary.
