Larnaca is placed towards the southern part of the Cyprus Island, is the third largest city after Nicosia and Limassol and it is the capital of the Eponymous district. History of Larnaca:

As per the records, the city was inhabited from 1200 BC and Kition Kingdom established the city in the 13^th century BC and later Greek established the colonies in the city but due to earthquake in the city several buildings were destroyed. Romans invaded the city and later it was captured by Venetian ruler and during the Ottoman rule port was established in the town and forts, churches, mosque and colonies were established in the town.
