History of Cheboksary:
Cheboksary was the part of Bulgarian city of Veda Suvar during the 13th century. Fort was constructed by Russians in the year 1555 and soldiers colonies were established in the town and during 17th century it was one of the commercial cities of the Volga region. In the year 1781, Cheboksary was granted the title of city.
