Chur is a small city in the Plessur district in Graubunden Canton in Switzerland. History of Chur:

According to the records, it is believed that the Chur region was inhabited around 3900-3500 BC by Pfyn culture and Roman Empire captured the region around 15 BC and during 4^th century Chur became home to the first Christian bishopric in the north of Alps. Chur was the important region for many rulers and population of the region flourished during 13^th century and Three Leagues established the revolution to Chur’s autonomy and in the year 1803, Chur became the capital of Graubunden Canton.

St Martin’s Church is situated just 10 minutes walk from city center and the church was constructed in 8^th century but later renovated in Gothic style between 1476 and 1491 and has stained glass.
