Fredericia is a town situated in the eastern portion of the Jutland peninsula in Denmark between 55°35′57″ N latitude and 9°45′13″ E longitude at an elevation of 15 meters above the sea level. It is the seat of the Fredericia municipality coming under the Southern Denmark (Syddanmark) region. Fredericia is the largest transportation centre of Denmark and the town also houses Signals Regiment of the Royal Danish Army.
History of Fredericia:
Frederick III who was the founder of Fredericia, founded in the year 1650 and the town was named in the honor of Frederick. The Battle of Fredericia is the notable incident in the history of Fredericia that was fought against the Schleswig-Holstein rebels during the First War of Schleswig in 1849. The current municipality of Fredericia was formed during 1970.

Det Hvide Vandtarn is situated in the proximity of Landsoldatpladsen on apex of the Frederecia’s city walls. It offers the great views of the Little Belt Bridge and the Ramparts along with the entire town view. The entrance fee is 10 DKK.
Skærbæk Beach:
