Seoraksan National Park is situated in Seoraksan city in Yangyang province is one of the famed national parks in South Korea declared as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This park covers an area of 163.6 Sq Kms is enclosed with number of high peaks and the highest peak in Seoraksan National Park is over 1,200 meters above the sea level and it is bounded by hilly region as well. Seoraksan National Park has wide range of flora and there are more than 822 plant species and plenty of pine trees can be found within the national park.

Seoraksan National Park is surrounded by Sokcho, Yangyang, Goseong, Yanggu, Inje, Gangneung, and Hwacheon and Seoraksan National Park is located at the distance of 150 Kms from capital of South Korea, Seoul and coordinates are 38.125° N 128.416° E.
