History of Torremolinos:

Torremolinos was settled from Neolithic Ages and during the Roman rule they constructed the road between Cadiz and Malaga and after the fall of Romans the region was ruled by Muslims and they constructed the fort near the town. Torremolinos was ruled by Christians and during their rule the town was attacked by pirates and many parts of the town were destroyed. Torremolinos was reconstructed during the 19^th century and mills were established in the town.
