Tortuguero is a small village in Costa Rica situated in North Caribbean Coast in Limon Province. Name of the village was derived from Tortuguero National Park and Tortuguero means “Land of Turtle” and sited on the border of the Caribbean Sea. Tortuguero is surrounded by beaches which are home to thousands of sea turtles and national park is home to the biodiversity of insects, birds and mammals.
