Port Sudan is a port city and the capital of the state of Red Sea in the northeastern Sudan, located around 820 km northeast of the country’s capital, Khartoum. It is located on the coastline of the Red Sea, holding the most important port of Sudan. Port Sudan is also one of the renowned tourist destinations of Sudan, mainly for nature gifted spectacular beaches and exciting scuba-diving opportunities.
