History of Toledo:

Toledo is one of the oldest cities in Spain established during the Bronze Age and developed as prominent region during the Roman period and after the fall of Romans it came into the rule of Visigothic Spain. Toledo was hub of several revolutions between 761 and 857 and during the Arab rule numerous buildings and mosque was constructed in the city and Alfonso VI of Castile defeated the Arab ruler in 1085 and ruled the region for several years.
