Aarhus was called by the different names in the past such as Arus and Aross which may be derived from the two words ‘ar’ means ‘river’ and ‘oss’ means ‘mouth’ in the Danish language. Aarhus is one of the oldest cites in Denmark and existed around 1,300 years, according to archaeological findings. The development of Aarhus began in the 19th century.
