Culion is a third class municipality in Palawan Province of MIMAROPA region in Philippines. It is located about 270 kms from provincial capital Puerto Princesa. Culion houses 14 Barangays and its Zip code 5315.
Geography of Culion:
Culion is positioned between 11°50′07″ N latitude and 119°59′36″ E longitude and sited at an elevation of 460 meters. It is spread over an area of 500 square kilometers.
Culion is surrounded by Linapacan Island in the south, South China Sea towards west, Coron Reef in the east and Busuanga Island to the north.
History of Culion:
Culion witnessed the Spanish and the American rule in the past. It incorporated as a municipality in the year 1992.

Culion has its own airport named as ‘Culion Airport’ placed few kms away from the heart of the town. Other major closest airports to Culion include Busuanga Airport and Coron Airport.

Honda Bay:

Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center:
Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center is crocodiles reserve and a national research institute. It is open from morning 8:30 to evening 4:30. Entrance fee is 40 P for adults and 20 P for kids.
Palawan Museum:
Palawan Museum is located in Puerto Princesa. It includes a number of interesting pieces and is open from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 1:30 PM to 5 PM. 20 P is entrance fee.
