Kunfunadhoo is located in Baa Atoll and it is an island in Maldives and baa Atoll is the administrative division of Maldives and has three distinct natural atolls named Maalhosmadulu Atoll, which has 9 dweller islands, Fasduthere Atoll and the Goifulhafehendhu Atoll is the smallest atoll of the three. Baa Atoll has total of 75 islands out of which 13 islands are occupied and Baa atoll is famed for the good biodiversity and bounded by mangroves and fauna and this atoll is famed for sharks and one can find number of small whales in Baa Atoll and it has been recognized as the World Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO.
