History of Panama City:

Panama City was established in the year 1519 by Governor Pedro Arias Davila and named as Panama Viejo and Panama mean many fishes. After the destruction, the new city was planned and executed in the year 1674 and named as the Panama Nuevo. Later the city developed and expanded rapidly from the year 1904.
