Sabha, also called Sebha, is a city situated in the southwestern part of the Northern African country Libya. It is the administrative centre of the Sabha District, located around 640 km south of the national capital, Tripoli. Sabha is a historic town with growing importance and is also an important transport hub of the region Fezzan. Historically, Sabha was the seat of the Fezzan region and the Military Territory of Fezzan-Ghadames.
Sabha is also noted for its agricultural industry and is also famous among tourists for its Italian built Fort Elena castle. Sebha coordinates with 27°02′20″ N latitude and 14°25′35″ E longitude and lies around 420 meters above sea level.
